Our final Symphony concert of our 58th season – May 18th, 2025 at 3PM at the Independence School, 1300 Paper Mill Rd, Newark Delaware

Join as we feature one of our 2024 Concerto Competition winners, Hannah Han playing Violin Concerto in D Minor, Op. 47 by Jean Sibelius.
Our season will culminate with the choreographic symphony, Daphnis et Chloé Suite No. 2 by the French composer, pianist and conductor, Maurice Ravel, which was originally commissioned by the Russian impresario, Serge Diaghilev, for the Ballet Russes. It is full of lush harmonies, and considered by many to be Ravel’s passionate masterpiece.
